Deleting Processes
The Process app offers you a process deletion option that allows you to remove processes from the Job Monitor database. Manually deleting processes is supported in the Active Collection and the Archive Collection. Use the feature, for example, if you do not want to wait until a process is automatically removed from the Archive Collection (30 days by default). For more information, see Viewing Archived Processes.
n There is no undo option to restore a deleted process.
Note the following limitations for deleting processes:
-
The delete process option is only available for administrators or members of a group with enabled Master of Jobs entitlement.
-
You can only delete one process at a time, multi-selection for deletion is not supported.
-
If you delete a parent process, its child processes are not deleted. Therefore, always delete all processes included in the hierarchy.
To delete a process:
-
(if needed) To show only active processes, click the blue Archived button so it turns gray.
-
(optional) If you delete processes that are included in a hierarchy:
-
Click the Show Hierarchy button in the Process app toolbar.
-
Click the Expand toggle button in front of a parent process to show its child processes.
-
-
Right-click on a process.
-
Select Delete job from the context menu.
The process is deleted without additional prompt.
