Rundown App Shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts available when working in the Rundown app are listed in the following table. Some keystroke combinations only work when the cursor is located in a certain section of the app; the Focus column in the table specifies the section of the app when that is the case. For more information on the app and its sections, see Working with the Rundown App.

Tab Navigation

Navigation, using the Tab key, within the Rundown app varies depending on where focus is located within the app. Generally, pressing Tab will navigate "forward" to the next editable field, and pressing Shift+Tab will navigate "backward" to the previous editable field.

  • For example, if in the Queue panel, pressing Tab navigates to the next editable field in the selected row. Otherwise, it goes to the first editable field in the story form, if open, or then to the first segment in the story body.

  • For example, if in the Story Form panel, pressing Tab navigates to the next editable field if any; otherwise, it goes to the first story segment.

  • For example, if in the Story body, pressing Tab navigates to the next segment if any.
